FULL MOON CEREMONY
During this virtual ceremony, members will gain traditional teachings of the Full Moon Ceremony led by Judy Sackaney – Wachi Medowin, Traditional Grandmother. Registered members will also be provided some medicines to add to their bundles. Moon water teachings as well as Moon Stone teachings will be included with the moon teachings.
All are welcome and supplies are not needed to participate in this ceremony.

Join 2-Spirited People of the 1st Nations, in this 3 part series as Nichole and Naz, teach us the different steps and forms of Fancy Shawl dancing. Nazarene and Nichole will be teaching us their preferred styles of Fancy Shawl. They will also be sharing stories and teachings on the origins of Fancy Shawl and how it has evolved.

During the months of February and March, we will be welcoming Dawn who will be doing a unique 4-part series on Haudenosaunee understandings and language.

Did you know that the names of roughly 1 in 5 provincial parks come from the Anishinaabemowin Languages? Would you like to establish a deeper understanding of this Traditional Language? 2S SEXUAL HEALTH EDUCATION
Join us for this 4 part series, in which we discuss the topics of Sexual Health and Identity. This youth workshops will focus on 4 topics that generally have a lot of stigmatization surrounding them. Our workshops will take a culturally safe approach, by incorporating the medicine wheel into in each week. This will be a safe space for participants to learn from experts on each topic, with an Elder joining for emotional and spiritual support. You may feel free to share your own thoughts and feelings on the topic of the week, or ask any questions you may not normally get the chance to.

INDIGENOUS LED CRISIS RESPONSE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
2-Spirits in partnership with Eshkiniigjik Naandwechigegamig Aabiish Gaa Binjibaaying (ENAGB) and Parkdale Queen West Community Health Centre are leading the upcoming Indigenous led Crisis Response Pilot.
We are looking for community to sit on our Community Advisory Committee for the Indigenous led Crisis Response pilot to walk alongside us and guide the work we will be doing.
