FULL MOON CEREMONY
During this virtual ceremony, members will gain traditional teachings of the Full Moon Ceremony led by Judy Sackaney – Wachi Medowin, Traditional Grandmother. Registered members will also be provided some medicines to add to their bundles. Moon water teachings as well as Moon Stone teachings will be included with the moon teachings.
All are welcome and supplies are not needed to participate in this ceremony.

By learning and carrying our songs with us on this red path, we not only revitalise our culture, we are reclaiming our spaces and ceremonies. The Traditional Songs & Languages program aims to honour and respect our Nations’ songs and the teachings each carries, while learning and practising our Traditional Languages.
2S BIKE CLUB
2-Spirited People of the 1st Nations would like to invite you to join our first ever bike program. This program will focus on safety while riding a bike, health benefits of riding a bike, and bike maintenance with talks of starting our very own 2-Spirit bike club (rides scheduled to begin at the end of April).
Each person who completes the pre and post questionnaire and attends all three workshops will receive a bicycle to help with their commute around the city and their contribution to an eco-friendlier future.

SPOKEN WORD – CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP
Discover the power of your words and truth through this self-expressing, creative writing workshop with Jennifer Alicia. To celebrate the Spring Equinox, we will explore topics of “New Beginnings”, enabling members to discover themselves in a new light. Members will then share their piece (by Spoken Word) to the community on March 28, 2022 @ 6:00pm at the Spring Equinox Showcase.
TRADITIONAL NAMING CEREMONY
This special ceremony is being held for our 2-Spirit members by Elder Blu Waters and will be completed between two separate virtual meetings (and throughout the nights in between with Spirit). This unique opportunity is provided for members who wish to learn their Spirit Names, Clans and Colours and to gain a deeper connection to the self and the Great Spirit.

Your ultimate Bingo Night! Seniors Bingo is offered to members 55+ years. Cards and Dabbers will no longer be provided as we have moved to the online platform. Directions to log on to the game are provided once you have logged into the Zoom space.
