Indigenous teachings have been traditionally passed down through generations and have withstood the trials of time. In this modern day, we welcome you to join us online to learn Traditional Teachings from Nations across Turtle Island. To register, complete this online registration form or email.
TRADITIONAL SONGS & LANGUAGES
The heart of our Nations beats to the sounds of our drums and through the words of our songs and languages. By learning and carrying our songs with us on this red path, we not only revitalise our culture, we are reclaiming our spaces and ceremonies. The Traditional Songs & Languages program aims to honour and respect our Nations’ songs and the teachings each carries, while learning and practising our Traditional Languages.
NEW MOON CEREMONY
Connect, Ground, and set your intentions during this virtual ceremony, where members will gain traditional teachings and understandings of the New Moon Ceremony, led by Judy Sackaney – Wachi Medowin, Traditional Grandmother.
SONG STRUCTURE TEACHING
Join us as Isaiah teaches us the song structure and beats of the drum while giving us specific teachings on the drum. This is a workshop not to be missed!
COOKING WITH ROBIN
Cooking with Robin is a virtual 4 week cooking program where Robin teaches you how to make easy, nutritious meals in under an hour. Participants must live in the GTA. Ingredients will be supplied by 2-Spirits. Fill out the form below or email covidprogramming@2spirits.org to register
