HULA HOOP FITNEES

Work on your core strength and balance while learning a new skill. Hula hooping is a great way to get your heart going and put a smile on your face. Whether you are a beginner or a pro this class will challenge you, get your body moving and your mind thinking! Lessons will focus on endurance, balance and coordination as well as new ways to move our bodies with our hula hoops and perform cool tricks.

BOO-BOO WAABOOZ WITH JENNIE TOWN

Join us on Zoom, as we create a little aroma sock bunny that can be used for stress relief and much more. Lightly scented, textured and kept in the freezer, this bunny will have a calming effect when you, your partner or your child need some TLC. This family workshop is great for all!

SKATEBOARDING LESSONS WITH THE CHILL FOUNDATION

We’ve partnered up with The Chill Foundation and are currently running a Fall Skateboard Program at @skateloft in Scarborough.

This is program will run for 6 weeks and we ask that you ensure you are available for all 6 weeks. All skill levels are welcomed.

IZHIGIN – SNAKE PLANT TRANSPLANTATION

This month with Izhigin (It Grows a Certain Way), we will be taking a closer look at Transplantation, tricks and tips, and overall benefits. Our monthly species of interest will be focussed on Snake Plants, a beautiful and versatile plant. Plant kits will be provided to participants. Supplies limited to 2-Spirit community members residing in the immediate Toronto area.

VIRTUAL ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Join our Virtual Annual General Meeting on September 21st 2021 from 6:00-9:00 pm. Those who register and live within the GTA will be sent an AGM packet and a small token of appreciation! We will also be doing our $1000 draw for those who completed our Strategic planning survey!

NEW MOON CEREMONY

During this virtual ceremony, members will gain traditional teachings of the Full Moon Ceremony led by Judy Sackaney – Wachi Medowin, Traditional Grandmother. Registered members will also be provided some medicines to add to their bundles. Grandmother moon teachings will be included in this ceremony.

All are welcome and supplies are not needed to participate in these teachings.
