2-Spirited People of the 1st Nations is an Indigenous-led, non-profit charitable organization supporting 2-Spirit, First Nations, Métis, and Inuit community members across Ontario. Our work includes culturally grounded mental health and wellness services, harm reduction, community programming, and a 24/7 Indigenous Crisis Response Team, which provides trauma-informed, community-based support as an alternative to police response.
Through this 50/50 draw, we are raising funds to support our vision of opening Ontario’s first-ever 2-Spirit shelter — a space created by and for 2-Spirit people, where community members can find safety, stability, cultural grounding, and belonging.
Ticket sales open from now until 9PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
Draw will be on Facebook Live at the 2-Spirit Winter Gala Fundraiser 9:30PM.
How it works:
* Tickets must be paid for to be eligible.
* Tickets are sold electronically through Rafflebox.
* All eligible ticket numbers are entered into the system.
* One winning ticket is randomly selected by Rafflebox at the time of the draw. This process is electronic, secure, and auditable.
* The winner receives 50% of total ticket sales.
* The winning ticket number will be posted online after the draw and on our website for 6 months.
Eligibility:
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
* Tickets are available to Ontario residents.
* Board members, directors, managers, supervisors, and their immediate family members associated with 2-Spirited People of the 1st Nations are not eligible to purchase tickets or win.
* Employees are eligible to purchase 50/50 tickets to support.
