NEW MOON CEREMONY

During this virtual ceremony, members will gain traditional teachings of the Full Moon Ceremony led by Judy Sackaney – Wachi Medowin, Traditional Grandmother. Grandmother moon teachings will be included in this ceremony.

In celebration of fall equinox, 2-Spirited People of the 1st Nations will be delivering turkeys. This is for 2-Spirit community members living in the GTA. Delivery will be on October 6th please ensure you will be home on this day if you are signing up.

MANDALA DOT ART

Register today to learn Aboriginal Dot Art techniques with Jennie Town. During this workshop we will be practicing this form of artistic meditation, creating beautiful custom mandalas on a variety of surfaces (including a semaa tin, a plate and a pop socket for phones). Pat Green, a Mohawk elder living on Six Nations shares his thoughts and teachings surrounding the Medicine Wheel which brings a sense of balance to the community.
