Stacey Jackson’s Rez Kids Bursary

My name is Stacey Jackson, and I am an Ojibway individual originally from the Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory on Manitoulin Island. I am a mother to a teenage daughter, and we have both grown up in our community. Recently, we relocated to Toronto to embrace new opportunities and experiences. Reflecting on my childhood, I fondly remember being a young child on the rez, dreaming of the day I could move to the city. I always believed I would achieve that goal, and now I want to inspire other youth from similar backgrounds to pursue their aspirations, as anything is possible.

I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to leave my community, and I am eager to give back. I am offering a bursary for any Indigenous youth (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit) living in Ontario, providing them with the chance to invest in themselves and enjoy new experiences.

This is eligible to any Indigenous youth (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit) living in Ontario

BURSARY AMOUNT $ 1,000.00
