Coming Back Home Bursary

Home was once a place of safety that I could rely on to be there. It was a space that I grew up with and created memories that will be with me for life.

When I fell into addictions, this sense of home became a distant memory, smothered by shame and guilt. I felt as though I didn’t disserve to feel encapsulated by this love and belonging anymore.

Through years of dedication to myself and my parents’ unconditional love, I was able to find my way back home. That home was me.

This bursary is for any indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, Metis) youth living with addictions within in Ontario, trying to redefine the meaning of home.

BURSARY AMOUNT $ 600.00
