The Amit Singh Memorial Bursary was established to honor the memory of Amit Singh, a beloved childhood friend who tragically passed away 12 years ago.
In Amit’s memory, this initiative offers two $500 bursaries annually to support Indigenous trans youth and Indigenous trans adults across Canada. These bursaries are designed to provide financial assistance without restrictions, allowing recipients the freedom to use the funds for any expenses they see fit.
Through this initiative, we strive to keep Amit’s legacy alive by contributing to the growth and success of Indigenous trans communities.
